How many of you have heard of an old TV show called “I Love Lucy”. I’d imagine quite a few since the show is supposed to be so iconic.
The rest of the information I’m about to write is about the show and I got this information from this Wikipedia article titled “I Love Lucy” . So take it with a grain of salt.
For those of you who don’t know about it, “I Love Lucy” was an American sitcom show which ran from 1951 to 1957. The show starred Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, and William Frawley. After the series ended, a modified version continued for three more seasons with 13 one-hour specials which ran from 1957 to 1960.
It won five Emmy Awards, received many nominations and was the most watched show in the United States at the time. In fact, in it was voted the ‘Best TV Show of All Time’ in a survey conducted by ABC News and People Magazine.
The show depicts the adventures, or rather misadventures of the titular character Lucy Ricardo. It’s an extremely funny show.
